Dunhelen Commences Construction in Greenvale
Construction has officially commenced at Dunhelen, marking a significant milestone for this new masterplanned community in one of Melbourne’s most tightly held suburbs.
With strong demand from local buyers and Stage One now sold out, the start of civil works signals real progress on a community that is already resonating deeply with those who know the area best.
Almost 70 per cent of purchasers come from Greenvale and nearby suburbs including Craigieburn, Donnybrook, Mickleham and Kalkallo. It’s a powerful reflection of the limited availability of new housing in the area, and the appeal of a community designed to complement what already exists.
Buyers at Dunhelen are diverse, from first homebuyers taking their first step into the market, to established upgraders seeking a long-term home in a familiar location.
To deliver Stage One, Jinding has appointed BMD Urban, with construction now commencing on site.
These works include earthworks and the delivery of essential infrastructure, setting the foundations for the first 44 lots to progress toward homebuilding early next year.
For our purchasers, this milestone is tangible proof that the vision they’ve invested in is becoming reality.
Spanning 29 hectares, Dunhelen will deliver close to 460 homes within a thoughtfully planned neighbourhood.
Green links, established-style streetscapes and generous landscaping will shape the character of the community, alongside plans for future infrastructure including a proposed primary school and local community hub.
The vision is simple – to create a place that feels like it has always belonged in Greenvale – and it is now underway!
